  Le Genet has a graveled drive with plenty of space for several cars. Step through the door into the entrance hall. To the right is a WC and straight ahead glass doors lead into the spacious living room, which faces south east. To your left is the comfortable sitting area, with three sofas grouped around the fireplace. A television with satellite receiver and DVD player is also located here.      To the right of the glass doors is the dining area, which is furnished with an oval dining table and chairs, buffet and a decorative upright piano. The French doors by the dining area give access to a veranda, where outdoor furniture can be stored when not in use, and from the veranda there is access to the garden.  
 A doorway at the end of the living room leads into the kitchen. To the right is the U-shaped built in kitchen, and to the left is a nook with built in seating and a dining table, perfect for keeping cook company. The kitchen is well equipped and has lots of work space. The range cooker has gas burners, two electric ovens and a grill, and below the window is a double sink. There is also dishwasher, a fridge/freezer and small appliances such as electric kettle, coffee maker and toaster. Sliding doors at the end of the kitchen lead to one of the terraces, which is perfect for dining al fresco.   Fires & barbecues are not permitted because of the fire risk, but there is a gas "plancha" grill for outdoor cooking.   A few steps lead to another terrace, which overlooks the pool area. The large free form swimming pool measures approx. 5 x 10mt and has a total surface area of 54 square metres, with roman steps for easy entry. Around the pool are various areas which are perfect for relaxing in the sun or in the shade. Sun loungers and outdoor furniture are provided. The garden around the pool is completely private and not overlooked, so perfect if you want to take a dip as nature intended. In amongst the trees and shrubs little "hideaways" have been created, for those wishing to get away from it all.  
Back in the house the bedrooms are on the first floor and reached by stairs from the entrance hallway. The master bedroom is furnished with a king size bed (180 x 200cm) and romantically decorated.     
Two of the other bedrooms are furnished with a double bed each (140 x 200cm) and the fourth bedroom is furnished with a single bed (100 x 200cm). The large bathroom on this floor features a walk-in shower, WC and wash basin. The washing machine is also located in the bathroom..   All rooms at Le Genet are equipped with electric heating, the windows are double glazed throughout and the house is equipped with shutters, making the house comfortable at any time of the year. More about La Louviere and Area La Louviere is a small hamlet of 12 properties, located at 500mt in the hills 10km west of St Chinian and 8km north of St Jean de Minervois. The drive to St Chinian affords spectacular views of the surrounding countryside, on a clear day as far as Narbonne! Opportunities for walking and hiking abound in all directions, and there are a number of walked marked walks in easy reach of the hamlet. Cyclists who enjoy a challenge will like the surrounding hills. Services, shops and markets can be found in St Chinian (12 minutes drive, 10km) or in St Pons de Thomieres (19 minutes drive, 17km), and a visiting baker stops at La Louviere twice a week.
