  Guests have their own private terrace outside Kia Ora, which is furnished with a table and chairs as well as as charcoal BBQ. Kia Ora is well enough away from the owner's own house for both to enjoy privacy.    The living room is furnished with a dining table and chairs, antique buffet, a comfortable arm chair, a sofa bed and a coffee table. A television is available for French TV channels, and a wood burning stove can be used on cooler evenings. The kitchen is equipped with a gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster and kettle.  
 The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, with a single bed overhead. A closet in the bedroom holds the washing machine. From the bedroom a door leads to the bathroom, with walk in shower, WC and wash basin.      More about Rodomouls and Area Rodomouls consists of two small hamlets, on either side of the D612 road, which connects Beziers to Albi. Right by the road is the Auberge de Rodomouls, a restaurant which is popular at lunchtime. The hamlet is one of several situated on the Pardailhan plateau, and is well located for exploring the surrounding countryside. Both Saint-Chinian and Saint-Pons-de-Thomieres are less than 15 minutes by car, perfect for shopping at the weekly markets, or enjoying a drink or meal at one of the bars and restaurants. The drive to St Chinian affords spectacular views of the surrounding countryside! Opportunities for walking and hiking abound in all directions, and there are a number of walked marked walks; the owners are keen hikers and will be happy to share their tips. Cyclists who like a challenge will enjoy the surrounding hills. Access By car: Exit 36 on the A9 motorway, then D64 and D612 to Rodomouls (41km) Nearest airports are located at Carcassonne (77km), Beziers (54km), Montpellier (115km), and Perpignan (110km) Railway stations are at Beziers (39km) and Narbonne (39km) with access to TGV trains, as well as car hire agencies. |
