Liberte, Narbonne Plage   Spend a relaxing holiday in this newly built garden apartment in the prestigious Roquemer development in Narbonne Plage. Close to vineyards, beaches, a nature reserve and all the animation a Mediterranean seaside resort can provide. Two bedrooms, sleeps four/five, garden and terraces.

Enter from the private car park via a path which leads through communal landscaped gardens towards the central vestibule hallway. The apartment is on the ground floor, to the right.

The open-plan living room is divided into several areas: a very sunny sitting area that is furnished with sofa, coffee tables, two easy chairs, flat screen TV (with satellite receiver) and DVD player. This part of the room has double French doors leading out on to the east-facing patio and garden, which makes it ideal for a sunny Mediterranean breakfast al fresco!
Adjacent is the dining area, with its full-length dining table, six chairs and HiFi/CD player, buffet/sideboard and bookshelves in which games, toys, books and DVDs in many languages can be found.

The luxury U-shaped kitchen is open to the living area. It is extremely well equipped with a gas cooker, built-in electric oven, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, extractor fan, washing machine, dishwasher, ample cupboard and work surface space and wine rack. The kitchen is well stocked with all the necessary utensils, including crockery, cutlery, table mats, bake ware, mixer, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, storage containers pots and pans besides all the necessary cleaning utensils.

From the kitchen a single French door leads into the private west facing garden at the rear of the the apartment, which is equipped with patio furniture, electric BBQ and clothes drying facilities. This garden overlooks the nature reserve of La Clape, where all manner of wildlife and flora can be found and observed (such as eagles, wild boar, hares, foxes, exotic wild flowers etc.). A hallway off the dining area leads to the two bedrooms, bathroom and separate WC.

Bedroom One: Double bed with luxury orthopedic mattress (140 cm), bedside tables, dressing table, mirror and fitted wardrobe. A single French door leads from this bedroom onto the west-facing terrace and garden.

Bedroom Two: Two single beds (100 cm), bedside table, mirror and large fitted wardrobe with chest of drawers. There is a further bed underneath these beds, which could be utilised for a 5th person if needed. This room benefits from a large window overlooking the east-facing garden at the front of the apartment with views of the lake in the distance.

Bathroom: Luxury tiled room comprising of large full-length bath tub with shower over, single bowl marble topped vanity unit (storage space underneath), together with mirror and spotlight over. Shaver socket, linen basket and heated towel rail. Separate WC.

Outside: Spacious terrace with hardwood table and six chairs, 4 sun loungers and umbrella.
The front garden is completely enclosed by a 1.00m wall with fencing above and is mainly laid down to gravel with shrubs and trees. (Please note that due to the fact of its recent construction, the garden might not be so mature in 2009 and therefore not offer complete seclusion). The garden at the rear of the apartment is fully fenced and offers shade during the morning.

If required the following can be made available: a highchair, baby travel cot with blankets, sheets, baby changing mat, cutlery, baby plates and potty. Please state if required at time of booking Liberté.

Liberté was constructed very recently (2009) and is situated on the prestigious Roquemer development, which consists of a cluster of high quality houses and apartments. Roquemer is surrounded by the vines of the Chateau Rouquette sur Mer, a prestigious domain recognized for the high quality of its wines. Take a walk in the la Clape region and discover a wine making culture that is more then 2000 years old.
The estate can be found upon entering into Narbonne Plage and is a mere 5 minutes walk to the beach.

Liberté can be found next to the nature reserve of La Clape, which is situated on the edge of Narbonne Plage, with its’ bustling cafes and splendid large, 4 ½ km fine-grained safe sandy beach, which attracts tourists from all over the world and which boasts the blue flag award since many years. Numerous onshore and nautical activities await you on the beach like: sailing, windsurfing, scuba diving, horseback riding, mountain biking and sand sailing to name but a few.

Narbonne Plage is situated some 10 km from Narbonne town and is only a 10 min drive from Junction 37 of the A9. Far from other more densely developed and overpopulated beach resorts, Narbonne Plage benefits from a relaxing and bon-vivant air. Surrounded by protected wetlands, this small family-orientated resort and marina are the ideal combination for an agreeable, sun-laden, natural and peaceful lifestyle as well as that it boasts many terraces, cafes restaurants, little tourist shops, a supermarket, sports centre, post office with cash point machine and tourism information centre.

Easily accessible public transportation is available at hourly intervals in the main season and slightly less frequent in the lower seasons.

In the nearby Cathedral town of Narbonne, you will be able to discover the bustling food markets, les Halles, which is particularly well supplied with excellent fish from our local fishermen.
