  The house is arranged over three floors: From the front door a straight staircase leads up to the living accommodation on the first floor.     To your right a glass door leads into the living room, which has windows at both ends. The sitting area with comfortable sofas overlooks the front of the house and the river. The bookcases are well stocked with reading material and there is a CD/radio/cassette player as well as Television. The dining area at the other end of the room overlooks the courtyard terrace below.   To the left of the stairs glass doors lead into a hallway. The country style kitchen overlooks the front of the house and is equipped with a full size gas cooker with electric oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer. The dresser is well stocked with glasses and crokery and you'll find everything necessary in the kitchen for home cooked meals. The kitchen table can seat 4/6.    On the other side of the hallway is a bedroom with double bed, overlooking the courtyard terrace below. This bedroom has its own en-suite shower room with shower cabin, wash basin and WC. Stairs lead from the hall down into the garage, from which you have access to the courtyard terrace. There is a utility room off the garage with washing machine, tumble dryer and WC, and the garage can be used to store bikes.    From the hallway stairs lead to the second floor where there are two further bedrooms. The bedroom overlooking the front of the house is furnished with a double bed and a single bed. The other bedroom overlooking the courtyard is furnished with a double bed, and has its own en-suite bathroom (shower, WC and basin). There's a further bathroom on this floor, also with shower, WC and basin.   
Le Puits is located in the village of St Chinian a very short walk from the nearest boulangerie, and not far to all the other shops and restaurants. The courtyard terrace is surrounded by high walls and not overlooked. As the sun moves overhead there is always a shady corner to be found. |
