designed village house. Completely re-built and with all modern
comforts this house offers superb and spacious accommodation
for eight persons. Situated in the centre of Saint-Chinian,
it has five bedrooms and four bathrooms, a large
courtyard and two terraces, and is perfect for two families wishing
to holiday together.
The heart of Les Roitelets is
on the ground floor, where you find the living area. The first
room you enter is the large dining room, with its wooden dining
table and chairs. To the left is the sitting room, which is comfortably
furnished with sofa, armchairs, bookcases and a TV. Beyond the
dining room is the fully equipped kitchen.
From both the kitchen and the
sitting room, sliding doors open onto the large courtyard. Perfect
for sitting out or enjoying a game of table tennis on the folding
table.
The kitchen is well equipped
with gas cooker, extractor fan, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine
and all the necessary crockery and dish ware. Being open on two
sides to the dining room and the courtyard allows the cook to
keep in touch with the rest of the family and there is ample
space for helpers.
The sleeping accommodation is
separated into two two areas, each accessed by its own staircase.
Above the kitchen and dining room are two bedrooms on the first
floor - one with two single beds overlooking the courtyard, and
another with one single bed overlooking the front of the house.
These two bedrooms share a shower room with walk in shower, WC
and wash hand basin.
On the second floor is a master suite comprising of a double
bedroom, a shower room with walk in shower, WC and wash hand
basin, a study and a terrace, which is reached from the study.
From the sitting room stairs
lead up to a bedroom with single bed, overlooking the courtyard.
This bedroom has its own bathroom across the landing, with bathtub,
WC and wash hand basin.
On the second floor is another
master bedroom, with sliding doors overlooking the terrace on
this floor. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with bathtub,
WC and wash hand basin.
The views from both terraces
on the second floor is of the village towards the spectacular
scenery of the Col de Fontjun. |
